The Chinese Embassy in US has launched the brand-new China Online Visa Application system (New COVA). In this new visa procedure, all visa documents must be scanned and uploaded electronically to the COVA system. For details, please see: https://www.ncvisa.org/visa-
The Chinese visa application process is very complex. ChinaStar offers three different options based on your needs to complete the entire process. You can choose to have us provide a full service, an assistance service or a mailing service.
ChinaStar will provide an on-site community visa & photo service at the Cary Chinese School this Saturday, October 18th:
- What: On-Site Chinese Visa and Photo Services (including Visa, Travel Doc and Passport)
- Date: Saturday, Oct 18, 2025, 10:00am to 12:00 noon
- Location: Panther Creek High School

- Direction: 6770 McCrimmon Pkwy, Cary, NC 27519
- Panther Creek has two entrances – use the Stadium entrance.

Visa Services and Fees – excluding the Embassy visa fee
- Service I: Full Visa Service, Fee – $150
- Service II: Consultation and Mailing Service, Fee – $120
- Service III: Mailing Service, Fee – $60
- The first step in applying for a visa is to have a digital photo, when filling out the China Online Visa Application (COVA) form.
- If you choose Service I: Full Processing Service, please bring your passport, driver’s license, and payment. The entire process can be completed at once.
- If you choose Service II: Consultation and Mailing Service, your COVA form must be checked/reviewed by us, and then pre-approved by the embassy before you submit your passport.
- If you choose Service III: Mailing Service, your COVA form needs to be pre-approved by the embassy before you submit your passport.

签证服务及费用 – 不含使馆签证费:
- 服务 I：全套代办服务费 – $150
- 服务 II：咨询与邮寄服务费 – $120
- 服务 III：邮寄服务费 – $60（不含使馆签证费）
照相费用：签证相片$20， 护照及旅行证相片$25（包括电子及打印照片）
办理签证注意事项：
1. 办理签证的第一步是要有合格的数字照片，才能上传网上填写中国签证申请表(COVA 表）。如果没有照片，需要先拍照，再填表
2. 如果选择 – 服务 I：全套代办服务， 带上护照，驾照，费用。一次办完手续。
3. 如果选择 – 服务 II：咨询与邮寄服务， 您的COVA要给我们检查反馈，并且使馆预审通过，然后交护照。
4. 如果选择 – 服务 III：邮寄服务， 您的COVA需要使馆预审通过，然后交护照。
